Infuse your dining table, mantle, or entry console with vintage Park Avenue luxury using this striking pair of signed ceramic elephant candlestick holders. Handcrafted and beautifully hand-painted in Italy exclusively for the high-end boutique Scully & Scully New York during the 1970s, these opposing figurines perfectly capture peak Hollywood Regency and Chinoiserie style.
Each off-white elephant is modeled from premium earthenware ceramic finished in a brilliant, glass-like high glaze. They are adorned with a hand-painted sage green blanket drapery accented by deep navy blue trim and detailed saddle fringe. Emerging from their backs are sculpted candle sockets shaped like exotic palm fronds, tailored to carry standard taper candles.
Provenance Note: Both pieces feature the crisp, authentic maker's hallmark reading "Scully & Scully New York / Made in Italy" stamped cleanly onto their underbellies, certifying their heritage and design lineage.
