Design Plus Gallery presents the Maple Audio/Visual Tansu Cabinet from Berkeley Mills. This two-part cabinet is composed of maple and figured maple panels arranged within a linear framework. Sliding panel doors conceal the upper and lower compartments, while two dovetailed drawers are fitted with traditional blackened metal pulls. The upper interior includes ventilation openings and cable access designed for audiovisual equipment. Horizontal rails, projecting corner joints, recessed pulls, and paneled side elevations reinforce the cabinet’s Japanese tansu influence.
