A captivating and finely detailed original ukiyo-e woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865), one of the most prolific and popular woodblock print artists of the Edo period. The triptych features elegant courtesans and noble figures adorned in sumptuous kimono, framed within a luxurious interior scene with intricate architectural elements and seasonal references such as blossoming plum trees and paper lanterns. Rendered with vibrant colors and fine patterning, the print exemplifies Kunisada's mastery of fashion, theatricality, and narrative in woodblock art. This triptych remains a remarkable example of 19th-century Japanese printmaking and the Genji-e genre.
