Stunning art deco "Ikora" crackled art glass bowl/centerpiece designed by Karl Wiedmann for WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) - Germany, 1920s/30s. Made of very thick transparent glass with interlayer decoration by oxide and powder fusion (in brown and green). This technique ("Ikora") was developed by Karl Wiedmann. Very decorative. Large and quite heavy (3.2 kg).
Diameter: 36 cm/14.2''; height: 7.5 cm/3''. Excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
