Vintage French Empire Style Gilt Bronze & Tiered Crystal & Beads Chandelier with Amethyst Accents
This vintage French Empire-style chandelier features an elongated, tapered cage silhouette crafted from an antique-finished brass or bronze framework. It is intricately dressed with draped strands of clear faceted glass beads that sweep downward from a smaller upper crown to a wider, main circular band.Interspersed among the clear crystals are small, delicate purple accent beads that add a subtle touch of color. The top canopy and the wide bottom tier are heavily adorned with hanging glass prisms, including teardrop drops and large, multifaceted crystal pendeloques that catch and refract the light. The overall design exemplifies traditional European elegance with a distinct tiered, tent-and-waterfall form.
