Tony Duquette Style Mercury-Glazed Porcelain Totem Lamp, Hollywood Regency
A striking sculptural table lamp inspired by the theatrical glamour and fantastical interiors associated with Tony Duquette, executed in luminous mercury-glazed porcelain. Rising in a dramatic vertical composition, the lamp is formed from a series of stacked geometric elements that expand and contract rhythmically around a central axis, creating a silhouette reminiscent of a modernist pagoda, architectural finial, or abstract totem.
The highly reflective silvered glaze transforms the porcelain body into a mirrored surface that captures and refracts its surroundings, lending the piece a jewel-like presence whether illuminated or at rest.
