Fine piece of art glass by Jean-Claude Novaro (France 1943-2014), dated 1988.
Jewel-like, studio made vase having thick, paperweight wall construction and featuring an abstract internal decor of gold leaf and dichroic blue/grey shapes, all contrasted against an orange ground, which is also used as the mouth flare. Sparkle and glitter!
Measures 5"x 5"x 3.5" and weighs 3.5+lbs. In excellent, as made condition. No chips, cracks, bruises, etc. Engrave signed 2X and dated 1988 as seen in the photographs.
