Constructed of richly figured flame mahogany, the cabinet displays beautifully matched veneers with exceptional depth and warmth, complemented by ebonized moldings that accentuate its clean, sophisticated lines.
The upper case is fitted with two dovetailed drawers featuring figured mahogany fronts and turned brass pulls. Below, a pair of paneled cabinet doors open to a spacious interior, ideal for storing table linens, barware, books, or household essentials. Flanking the doors are elegant brass-mounted engaged columns, a hallmark of the American Classical style inspired by ancient Greco-Roman architecture. The original working lock remains in place and is accompanied by a decorative tasseled key.
Raised on graceful tapered legs, the cabinet possesses a light, refined stance while maintaining sturdy construction.
