Gorgeous old patina with what we would call a caramelized paint finish that's developed with age.

Its condition is still useful but you need to be a little on the gentle side with it. It's a dainty piece. Please also note that the tracks for the middle drawer have fallen off, that's why you see the gap from the back. This could be something that you can choose to restore or leave as is. It does not affect the front look or usage. It just rests on the drawer beneath it. There's also a couple of separation on the top portion which you can see in the images.

This is really a character piece to decorate with. It's great on almost any surface, especially atop a shelf or fireplace mantel.
