A beautiful pair of 18th-century Chinese export porcelain rimmed plates decorated in the highly collectible Pseudo Tobacco Leaf pattern. Inspired by the celebrated Tobacco Leaf design, this example features fanciful floral and foliate motifs painted in vibrant famille rose enamels, highlighted by coral-colored reserves, delicate gilding, and imaginative variations unique to the genre. Unlike the standard Tobacco Leaf composition, Pseudo Tobacco Leaf porcelains exhibit a more whimsical interpretation, making each example particularly appealing to collectors.
