It features a classic glossy black lacquer finish decorated with hand-carved relief figures made of soapstone, mother-of-pearl, and jade-like stones.The main panels depict elegant celestial ladies or court figures in a traditional mountain landscape with pavilions, water, and trees. The upper borders feature inlaid floral and fruit motifs (including peaches, symbolizing longevity), framed by intricate gold/gilt hand-painted borders.
