This is a beautifully carved late-Victorian full-size bed crafted in richly grained walnut. The tall arched headboard features layered molding, scrolling foliate carving, and an ornate central crest with shield-form detailing.
The coordinating footboard echoes the headboard with a broad serpentine arch, applied carved accents, and a pierced floral medallion. Shaped posts, carved terminals, and warm aged finish highlight the craftsmanship and character of this antique bed.
The bed retains its original wooden side rails and includes support slats for use with a standard full-size mattress and box spring or compatible support system.
