This lovely Lidded Box is made of tin metal. This highly charming candy tin is compact in size and features a rounded oval shape, a removable lid, and a rustic red color lithographed to the exterior of the piece. The label on top of the lid reads, "10 cents | Mellomints | Satin Finish | Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." and the bottom of the base reads, "Brandle & Smith Co. | Phila., PA. | Liberty Can Co. Lancaster, PA", see pictures. The labels indicate this piece was likely made in the 1910s to 1930s.
The measurements are: height with lid=2" width=4" depth=2.375" approx.
