Its rectilinear armrest structure creates a rigorous, balanced silhouette characteristic of French interwar modernism. The purity of its geometric construction and the restrained proportions give the piece a quietly architectural presence.

The chair is upholstered in a deep olive-green velvet, a tone that works particularly well with the warmth of the wood and reveals subtle variations in the light. It is both comfortable and highly versatile, equally suited to an Art Deco interior or a more contemporary setting.

There are a few small, stabilised veneer losses to the armrests, together with a minor snag to the side of the backrest, as shown in the photographs. These do not affect the chair’s stability or everyday use.
