Designed during the 1970s, model S 502 reflects Carlo Nason's experimental approach to glass. Coming from a renowned Murano glassmaking family, Nason consistently sought to move beyond traditional decorative objects by treating glass as an architectural material. This bowl captures that philosophy through its free-flowing geometry and carefully balanced asymmetry.

Formed from thick crystal glass, the piece combines a clear section with a delicate violet-tinted segment, creating a subtle dialogue between colour and transparency.
