Its squat, compact form, with a narrow neck ending in a slightly flattened, ring-like lip, gives it a presence that is both gentle and confident. The wheel-thrown surface reveals fine horizontal striations that run around the body, adding rhythm to the material. A speckled glaze in warm shades of brown, ochre, and beige blends into more pronounced earthy brown hues towards the neck, creating the natural and vibrant gradient so characteristic of ceramics from that era. A beautiful piece to display on its own on a shelf or windowsill, perhaps to hold a dried stem or two.

The vase is in perfect condition.
