A lounge chair designed by H.W. Klein for the Danish manufacturer Bramin, produced in the 1970s. Klein's work for Bramin occupies a particular place in the Danish Modern canon — chairs built around genuine comfort and well-executed upholstery rather than structural showmanship. The proportions are generous without being heavy, and the upholstery has developed a rich, lived-in patina that gives the piece its best quality: the settled, unhurried character that only comes with real age and real use.
This is a chair for a reading corner or a home office where the seating needs to anchor the room without announcing itself. It pairs naturally with warm wood floors, linen, and the kind of interior where pieces accumulate over time rather than arriving all at once.
