Walker (American, 1946-2022) done in 1972, entitled "Beautiful Bette's Better Built Boxes Acrylic on Canvas." A graduate of the Art Museum School in Portland, Walker developed a bold visual language of geometric abstraction, executing vibrant compositions on large, custom built shaped canvases. This piece is comprised of 5 well-made stretched canvas "boxes" connected together and painted in acrylics, orange with blue stripes. The piece measures an impressive 62" high, 48.25" wide, and 4.5" deep. It is in good vintage condition with visible signs of wear. Note there are areas of edge and corner wear, discoloration and some bubbled canvas to the side of the largest section (photo). Please review all photos.
