It is crafted from … Read more This piece is an Antique Spanish Renaissance Revival Carved Wood Hall Bench, dating from the 1920s. It is crafted from solid wood and features distinctive architectural elements, including a scalloped crest rail, matching finials, and intricately turned spindles supporting the armrests and base legs.

Ornately carved bench seat purchased at auction over 20 years ago. Legs are turned and connected by an iron stretcher bar.

The bench is structurally solid, but the backrest tends to come apart, which would only require wood glue. There is some mottling to the wood that would require only a light sand or dose of Restorafinish. See less
