During World War II, this rugged heavy-duty rolling table was used for manufacturing and assembling parts. Discovered in Detroit, the welding workstation has two swing-arm drawers with white porcelain enamel to hold water for the purposes of cooling tools and parts, otherwise known as quench bins.
A new 1/4" thick Plexiglass top with rounded corners is a delightful juxtaposition of clean Modern style and slag-scarring Machine Age. The possibilities are endless with this piece. From bar trolley or kitchen cart to a furniture frame of color... balls of yarn, spools of thread, fabric journals or even small ivy draped over the drawers. It's a designer's dream!

* Plexiglass tabletop is 20-3/8" wide x 13-1/2" deep x 1/4" thick
