The frame is rectangular in shape and features a symmetrical design along the central and horizontal axes. The outer perimeter is highly dynamic and jagged, shaped by the curvilinear lines of the friezes and protruding carvings. The entire surface is dominated by dense carvings of a botanical motif, featuring acanthus leaves alternating with racemes and flowers. Provenance: Florence, early 19th century.
