A striking French Gothic Revival hanging lantern handcrafted in wrought iron with beautifully detailed stained and textured glass panels. Dating to the late 19th century, this architectural lantern features hand-forged scrolling ironwork, stylized fleur-de-lis ornamentation, repoussé detailing, and a dramatic pierced roof crowned with elegant acanthus leaf finials.
The lantern is fitted with textured clear glass accented by ruby red and emerald green stained glass panels, including a faceted green jewel at the center of each side that creates a beautiful glow when illuminated. The exceptional hand-forged ironwork displays the craftsmanship characteristic of the Gothic Revival movement, making this an ideal statement piece for an entry hall, staircase, great room, or covered outdoor installation.
