With a stylish boho chic or tiki-style-profile, this circular tortoiseshell split bamboo tray will be the perfect companion at your next festive gathering to serve drinks or hors d'oeuvres. Handcrafted from split tortoiseshell bamboo reeds on the top. There is a striking rattan herringbone pattern on the underside and a four-ring bent bamboo border that cascades downward to form a base which adds a slight boost of height. This beauty measures 16” x 16” x 1½” W/D/H; 14” interior width; weight 1 lb. 8 oz. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Colors are naturally aged bamboo with coffee-hued tortoiseshell accents and honey-hued rattan on the underside. Photos were taken in the round to show all sides and varying nuances of color and overall construction. Though the label is long gone, this beauty was made in the People’s Republic of China sometime in the 1960s. There is an abstract pencil signature of the artisan on the underside. Note, the plate stand is not included.
