Lovely Chinese 4-panel folding painted silk screen depicts Blue Jay birds on a branch of big Magnolia Tree. Unsigned. Watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Silk border. Lacquered brown wood frame with engraved copper corners showing some age patina. Silk on back. China, circa 1970-1980s. Nearly excellent condition - no damage to the painting, minimal age wear overall, some age wear to the frame and back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. This screen most likely had one owner.
