A magnificent pair of French Louis XVI style open-arm fauteuils boasting an exceptionally regal color palette. The linear, rectangular frames are masterfully carved from giltwood, displaying classic Neoclassical motifs including fluted tapered legs, architectural rosettes at the knees, and delicate floral cresting.
The chairs are upholstered in a luxurious, deep navy blue velvet. Both the backrests and seats feature highly detailed, multi-colored floral embroidery framed by an elegant golden cartouche.
