We all thought they were so special, and everyone wanted them! So we decided to split them between the four of us and I brought home two. One has already gone to a North Carolina home. The needlepointing is original - everything about the chair is original - and the seat is horse hair. I think it's a statement piece, but it is also sturdy, comfortable and lightweight for an easy chair to pull into a group. See less
