Vintage Inarco (International Art and Novelty Company) Mr. and Mrs. Claus salt and pepper shakers are highly collectible ceramic items, typically produced in Japan during the 1950s and 1960s.
The vintage Inarco ceramic Christmas tubular Santa salt and pepper shakers are recognized as mid-century collectibles and make charming decorations. Miraculously still retains original gold foil sticker and stoppers. Very good condition.
Inarco (International Art Ware Corporation) was founded in 1960 by Irwin Garber in Cleveland, Ohio. Though the company operated in the United States, its whimsical mid-century porcelain and ceramic giftware were manufactured in Japan. Collectors highly prize Inarco for its vintage head vases and kitschy figurines.
