This is a beautiful antique Continental silver (.800 silver) pie plate holder / pie server basket in a lovely daisy design with art nouveau style handle. This piece would be beautiful mixed into any bar scene or tablescape, with the pie plate used as a tray for display of citrus wedges or a collection of votives or shot glasses. I can see this on a springtime holiday table loaded with colored eggs, filled with cocktail napkins and tucked into a bar setup, or set out for display on a cocktail table. I love the idea of presenting a homemade pie in it and gifting it to a hostess with this as the keepsake!
The Pyrex isn't included but a standard 9" pie plate fits perfectly.
