The composition rests on an organically shaped base with deep gouge-style carvings that add a tactile, sculptural texture. Two mushroom stems of varying height rise vertically from the base, each topped with smoothly rounded caps. The caps are dotted with small, evenly spaced holes that give added visual interest and may have once functioned as a decorative incense holder or simple perforated design motif.
The wood displays beautiful warm brown tones with visible grain variation throughout, characteristic of monkey pod wood. This piece retains its original foil label reading Leilani Genuine Monkey-Pod Wood Hand Crafted along with a "Made in Philippines" tag and a handwritten stock number (looks like 218).
