Measures 37"H × 17"W x 17.5"d and seat height is 18" tall
Decorative pair of late 20th century
Chippendale-style side chairs featuring pierced and carved ribbon-back splats with shell and acanthus motifs, shaped crest rails, serpentine seats, and cabriole legs.
Finished in a dark mahogany-toned stain and upholstered in scenic tapestry fabric depicting a romantic pastoral landscape with classical architectural elements.
Inspired by 18th-century English Chippendale designs, these chairs were produced as quality decorative reproductions suitable for dining, hall, or accent seating.
Condition is good overall with minor finish wear, scattered scuffs and edge rubbing to the legs and carved elements, and light age-related wear to the upholstery.
Structurally sound and ready for use.
