This antique Anglo-Indian British Colonial Cabinet from India has been crafted from a tropical hardwood and features a clean architectural form topped by a molded cornice, and contrasted with a pair of full-height doors with upper open decorative panels fitted with metal bars, framed by gently arched moldings that introduce a subtle decorative rhythm to the façade. The lower portions of the doors are enriched with carved panels displaying foliate and scroll motifs. Behind the doors, the cabinet offers ample storage with interior shelving, while the slatted construction provides ventilation, a practical feature commonly found in colonial furniture designed for warmer climates.
