An elegant matching pair of French Louis XV style commode sauté chests of drawers. Features curved bombé shapes, decorative chevron parquetry veneer, and original dark green veined marble tops. Adorned with ornate gilt-bronze (ormolu) drawer pulls, corner mounts, and leg caps.
Mid-Century reproduction. French look without the fragile nature and multi-thousand-dollar upkeep of true 250-year-old antiques.

The marble tops and bronze hardware are fully intact. Please note there are visible surface imperfections and areas of bubbling/lifting veneer on the drawer fronts appropriate for their age. Hardware is in great shape. Some of the bronze trim is missing on side of one (see pictures). A couple drawers can get a little sticky with humidity but do function. less
