Elegant antique French porcelain centerpiece bowl mounted in an ornate gilt bronze (ormolu) Art Nouveau stand with scrolling handles and foliate decoration. The porcelain features a beautifully hand-painted romantic courting scene surrounded by a sky-blue border with finely detailed gilt floral and ribbon motifs.
The underside bears the Château de Fontainebleau mark along with the SVP 45 mark. The finely cast gilt bronze mount and hand-painted porcelain make this an exceptional decorative centerpiece for a dining table, console, or display cabinet.
