This striking decorative box features a collage-style interpretation of Sandro Botticelli’s iconic The Birth of Venus, blending Renaissance imagery with contemporary artistic elements. The box is adorned with fragments of classical figures, seashell motifs, painterly splashes of coral and crimson, and touches of gold leaf, creating a layered and whimsical composition.
Raised on elegant spherical feet with gently rounded edges and decorative metal hinges, the piece possesses a sophisticated yet playful aesthetic. The soft aqua background beautifully complements the warm gold accents and classical imagery, giving the box a distinctly coastal and artistic feel.
