This vintage Ron Lee “Great Escape” sculpture captures one of the artist’s most imaginative circus-themed scenes. Hand signed and dated 1987, it portrays a cheerful prisoner clown emerging from a tunnel with a lantern and pickaxe while an amused police officer quietly stands watch outside a brick jail wall, creating the playful storytelling that made Ron Lee’s sculptures so collectible.
