The frames are built in solid pine, with a gently arched camel-back top rail and reeded arm supports that curve down to slightly splayed front legs. A rear stretcher joins the back legs for added stability, following traditional cabinetmaking construction rather than a purely modernist frame.

The grain is warm and visible throughout, with an even, honey-toned finish. Both chairs have been reupholstered in a cream fabric with navy pinstripe detailing, fitted with a loose seat cushion over a sprung base. The proportions are compact and upright, suited to a hallway, study or as flanking chairs beside a sofa.

A well-constructed pair with a clearly documented Danish origin. See less
