This distinctive and rustic chair is entirely handmade and assembled using mortise-and-tenon joints. This piece is crafted from pine and was originally painted beige. The old paint has worn away in many places, giving the chair a beautiful patina. The chair is sturdy and suitable for everyday use. It dates from around 1800–1850.
