These nightstands are made from solid mahogany and not veneer as are many pieces of furniture. The wood grain is exquisite! I have photographed both of the tops (refer to pictures 7 and 11) so you can see just how beautiful the wood is. None of the drawers can be taken out except for the bottom drawer in one nightstand. The drawers could be removed on their older nightstands. These nightstands were made in 1993 as shown inside the top drawer (refer to picture 17). There are a few condition issues that I want to point out. One of the side edges has a small amount of what appears to be paint (refer to picture 6). I will try to remove it if it is paint. There is a bit of wear above one of the brass handles (refer to picture 10). There are very minor issues, and the nightstands are in remarkable condition in general.

I photographed these nightstands on a sunny afternoon in July. The last picture was taken in subdued light once the sun went behind the trees, so the wood looks darker (refer to picture 18). They will invariably look different when viewed in an interior setting under artificial light. Please take this into consideration when matching colors.
