This plate presents three figures illustrating the mechanics of a pinned-cylinder musical instrument: a monochord/scale-ratio diagram (Fig. 1, p.161), the pinned barrel cylinder mechanism (Fig. 2, p.163), and the assembled case with keys marked Ut-Si-La-Sol-Fa-Mi-Re-Ut and a hand crank (Fig. 3, p.164).
