Faience deep plates with decorative oriental motif in multicoloured transfer, typical of English production inspired by Chinese porcelain. Origin: England. Designer: Wedgwood & Co. Material: Faience. Dimensions: H. 4 cm, D. 16 cm. Period: Mid-20th century. Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear. English faience and transferware of the 19th and 20th centuries were strongly influenced by Chinese export porcelain, both in decorative themes and colour palette. See less
