Each plate features a dramatic dark blue/black decorative band with colorful pheasants, lush fruit arranged in ornate footed bowls, and floral motifs, all framed by a thin outer gold band and a heavy, richly detailed ~1-inch inner gold-encrusted band. The clean white centers provide elegant contrast and allow the opulent border design to shine.

These early-to-mid-20th century plates were produced on high-quality Hutschenreuther porcelain and decorated in the USA (clearly marked on the reverse). The gold decoration remains bright and crisp with no wear, and the painted elements retain vibrant color and fine detail.
