She wears a … Read more A Dresden-style figural single candlestick depicting an 18th-century courtly Lady standing against a floral tree trunk column. She wears a hand-painted red bodice and a floral pannier skirt.
The piece features applied porcelain rosebuds, leaves, vines and a scroll-footed Rococo base.

Circa 1890–1914.
Features the under glaze blue crowned shield factory mark, mold number "1079", and a hand-scripted export mark reading "Germany" on the underside of the base and a handwritten number 87 on the base of one foot that indicates the artisan or painter that hand-painted the piece.

There is fitted brass insert in the top flower component of the floral tree to insert the candle to protect the porcelain from candle heat and wax.
