1st time offered for sale, from the estate of a WWII B17 Pilot; who flew flights into Germany in early 1943. I am his son.

This fully functional example is liquid filled in excellent condition.
This is a vintage WWII Taylor US Army Bakelite wrist compass, featuring liquid filling for navigation.
· Taylor stylized logo; Taylor Instrument Companies, Rochester, N.Y.
· Bakelite housing, with a rotating cover.
· Issued to airborne and engineer troops during WWII.
Wrist compasses were used both by officers and enlisted men
