This large old clay vase was created in the south of France, around 1870. Made of blond clay, the tall vase is round in shape with a conical base and has no handles on the top; the vase has a natural beige hue all over the body. Overall this decorative container is in excellent condition with a rich aged patina finish.
It was typical of the south of France and especially of the small towns of the French Riviera, in the 17th and 18th centuries.
