Each sphere measures approximately 15 inches in diameter and weighs about 10 pounds. The openwork construction gives them real visual presence without feeling solid or heavy in a room, and the repeated circular pattern creates strong shadow and texture.

Sometimes referred to as Hufeisenkugel (horseshoe/washer spheres), these handmade welded spheres can be displayed on the floor, on pedestals, beside a fireplace, on a large console, or suspended as decorative objects. They are not wired as light fixtures.

The finish has the character expected of handmade metalwork, with slight variations across the welded surfaces. Both are solid, substantial, and in very good condition.
