The bowl is made from birch root and because of that organically shaped. Original hinges in handwrought iron. The red paint underneath is original. There are some older reinforcements in iron along with a few minor dry cracks. Made in northern Sweden around the turn of the century 1700s-1800s. Folk Art. See less
