Through circular openings and linear incisions, the collection explores the relationship between solid and void, treating negative space as an active structural element rather than a secondary absence. White inlaid lines act as precise markers of alignment and proportion, adding subtle graphic tension and reinforcing the objects’ measured, geometric language. Rooted in brutalist principles of weight, clarity, and permanence, block also reflects a japanese sensibility of restraint, material respect, and formal discipline.
