Elegant Anglo-Indian style settee crafted in warm honey-toned hardwood with gracefully scrolled arms, finely turned and reeded supports, saber rear legs, and a beautifully pierced sunburst back splat. The hand-caned seat is complemented by a loose textured cream seat cushion and matching bolster-style back cushion, allowing the cane work to be displayed or covered depending on preference.
This settee comes directly from a professional Hollywood prop rental house and was documented as appearing on General Hospital in 2003 and 2004. Its combination of British Colonial styling and authentic television production history makes it equally appealing to collectors, interior designers, and anyone seeking a distinctive statement piece.
A matching pair of armchairs from the same suite is available in a separate listing. See the digitally staged photo mock-up of this settee in an elegant room for inspiration. While generated to mimic general room proportions, it is not an exact mathematical blueprint. Buyers must verify exact fit using the written dimensions listed below before purchasing. Only the item in this listing is for sale.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with scuffs and light wear consistent with age and professional studio use. The hardwood frame is solid, the hand-caned seat remains taut and supportive, and the finish retains a warm, attractive patina. A short section of the cane spline along the front edge has lifted slightly from the groove; this is a minor cosmetic condition issue that does not affect the structural integrity or usability of the seat. Cushions show light wear consistent with age.
