Elegant monochrome 4-panel folding screen, painted on silk in the style of Wu School of The Ming dynasty (1368–1644) depicts a Mountain Landscape with River. Watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Silk brocade border with thin liner. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners. Silk on back. Detailed. Lightweight. China, circa 1970s. Good condition - some age wear overall, minor staining, repairs on the 4th panel (image #16), touch-ups on the frame, losses on thin silk liner of the border, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
