An elegant early-20th-century mirror in the Adam style, with a slender giltwood and composition frame crowned by an airy neoclassical crest. Delicate scrolling tendrils, floral rosettes, husk-like leaves, wheat sheaves, and a central anthemion rise above the rectangular mirror plate, while beaded borders and articulated corner blocks lend definition to the restrained silhouette.
At 50 inches high, the mirror offers useful scale without the visual weight of a heavily carved frame.
